It was our pleasure this week to deliver sixty hi-viz vests to the pupils of Gwyrosydd Primary School in Treboeth, Swansea and Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pontardawe in Neath Port Talbot. Part of Metro Rod's national Walking Bus support campaign for schools, aiming to support over 900 children throughout the UK.
The campaign aims to help the local community to "Be Bright, Be Green, Be Seen", promoting road safety as well as sustainability and reduction in emissions through choosing to walk to school and on trips.
At Metro Rod Swansea we take our social responsibility seriously and will engage with various initiatives annually to support environmental change and community projects. The Walking Bus campaign has further shown our commitment to supporting local organisations and our close relationship with a number of schools in the SA postcode region.
