Metro Rod drain care serving London’s Construction industry

London drain construction Metro Rod site

Metro Rod provides drain inspection, drain repair and drain cleaning services to many London construction companies and understands the immense value of the Construction Industry to London (as this recent report highlights. )

All Metro Rod drainage engineers carry CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards and are fully equipped and trained. Our business operates to the highest health and safety standards so that our engineers and your staff will be safe whilst we operate.

Every day in the UK hundreds of new construction projects break ground. In London this can be anything from the latest City of London tower block or a new shopping centre to extending a school to crucial roadworks to refurbishing a hospital to building a new housing estate. One thing every construction project has in common is site drainage and drains, and that’s where we come in.

We have a vast amount of experience and you can rest assured that our engineers understand  the Construction and Groundworks industry. All our drainage engineers receive in-depth training for specialist situations such as Confined Space Entry, which they are entrusted to carry out safely and efficiently where required.

We deliver a first-class Customer Service

Providing an excellent customer service for your drainage needs in London is our number one priority and there is a Metro Rod engineer close at hand at all times – 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. We have the capacity to deal with unexpected reactive emergency works, with blocked toilets and blocked drains being cleared every day across Central London whether you are in Stratford, Dulwich, Westminster, Camden, Notting Hill, Ealing or any other part of London. All this activity goes on whilst other teams support construction projects with on-site presence to carry out larger project works.

Our services include:

CCTV Survey service – Our CCTV survey service enables us to view and annotate footage from drain runs. We can then use this data to create and send a report detailing information about the survey, including any faults found in the drains.

We have recently invested in the innovative iTouch CCTV system which means we can provide survey reports direct from site in super-fast time via a direct "Cloud" weblink

We can survey drains that vary in diameter from 100mm to 1000mm. This can range from storm water drains to deep drains for agricultural operations.

You can read more about Metro Rod CCTV survey here.

Drain repair - using traditional excavation where necessary but also modern "no-dig" lining and local structural repair techniques which mean we can repair underground drainage pipes from surface level, thereby minimising costs and time on-site.We are experienced in working with a variety of drainage systems, including clay, plastic, and concrete.

Drain cleaning - We will clear drains of silt and construction debris using powerful High Pressure Water Jetting equipment ensuring no site is left with a blocked drain. HPWJ is the process of using water propelled at high speeds to clean drains and is particularly effective. All Metro Rod drainage engineer's vehicles are equipped with powerful jetters but where larger diameter drains require cleaning we can provide tanker jetting for an even more powerful jetting experience

We at Metro Rod Central London understand the value and importance of the construction industry to London. We are here to support London construction businesses and ensure that all drains on site are ultimately free-flowing and fully functional.
