This past weekend was a busy one across our network, with Metro Rod staff descending on Celtic Manor Resort in Newport to meet, mingle and look back over the past year and forward to the next!
It was a great weekend, with the opportunity to speak with our suppliers and partners to try the latest in innovative products that we can use to bring the best service to the drains of the homes and businesses of Oxfordshire.
Naturally we talked a lot about drains; blocked drains, broken drains, repaired drains and everything in between! We also talked a lot about the people who get down and dirty for the job of caring for, repairing and maintaining the drains: our service engineers a.k.a. Our Heroes!
The awards ceremony and dinner also proved to be a hit for another set of heroes as we managed to raise over £2000 for Macmillan nurses!
